December Member Show at Art Place Gallery

Registration for the December member show is now open!
Please read all the details below carefully and make note of dates
Space will again be limited so register early! We will need to cut off entries as soon as we hit our capacity based on sizes of work. We hit our capacity last month and had to turn registration off. This month you can go through and do two registration packages if you wish. Register right away if you want to be sure to get in.
Pick up of November work, and drop off for December will be Tuesday Dec. 2nd 10-1pm
Application details:
Art League Member Registration Fee: $20
Commission: 30% to the Art League.
3D Artists (including jewelry) - you may bring in 5 pieces of work for your registration fee.
2D artists working small- You may submit multiples up to $300 retail value in artwork for your registration fee. Maximum 5 pieces per registration
*Please note due to our hanging system very small pieces may be displayed on a table or shelf.

Art Drop Off: Tuesday December 2nd, Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Opening Event: Friday December 5th 4 - 7 pm
Pick up of unsold work- Monday January 5th, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Size limitation- 60 inches in any direction
Display requirements: If your work requires a special display component, please provide it.

Important Please Read - New exhibit rules (not guidelines, but rules that will be enforced):
All wire must be plastic coated. Our new hanging system requires coated wire in order for artwork to hang securely.
All wire must be tight enough and installed low enough so that when you hold the wire as if hanging work it does not show above the frame.
No sawtooth hangers.
No eye hooks - D-rings only
Hanging rods or dowels require loops that can be suspended from a hook. (no nailing in to walls can be done in the new gallery)
Every piece of artwork must be securely labeled on the back or attached with artist name, title, price, medium, size
All artwork on 7/8 inch thick canvases (the really thin ones) must be framed and edges painted.
No plastic, damaged, loose, or poorly repainted frames.
All deep gallery wrapped (1-1/2 inch plus) artwork must have edges painted.
No wet or tacky paintings will be accepted.
All paintings must be signed by artist in appropriate location.
The Art League reserves the right to remove any work from the exhibit that does not meet these rules or that is deemed inappropriate.
