Lucy Clark is going to be our speaker for our April 8 "Delicious Details" program from 12 to 1 in the Art Place Studio classroom.


THE ART OF GALLERY REPRESENTATION
Finding a gallery that is a good fit for your work is a daunting task for any artist.  While we can use “the spaghetti method” by flinging our work at galleries and seeing what sticks, there might be a better way.
Rejections are never easy for artists.  Being sensitive is of great value while creating, but when it comes to putting ourselves out there, we can internalize a “no” to equate into feeling unworthy.
Through years of being an artist and being rejected by the best of them, Lucy Clark will share her experiences as an exhibiting artist as well as a gallery owner to help navigate the seemingly tricky and mysterious path to gallery representation.

Please help us get started in a timely manner and bring a lunch if you wish.  Hope to see you there.
