About the Class: Soul Collage is a gentle, intuitive, and creative process making collage cards to use as a powerful tool for self discovery and personal empowerment. The workshops focus on two essential elements - finding compelling images, cutting out and pasting them and speaking aloud or journaling from the images's point of view. A personal deck of cards can reflect the many aspects of ourselves and provide insights to our personal and profound soul wisdom.
Supplies: All Supplies are included.Artist Bio: Ann Douglas Pinckney is adventurous, creative and has been trained in Photography, Jewelry Design and Mixed Media Collage. A student of the Fine Arts Center, Greenville, SC and a BFA from Winthrop University, Pinckney teaches, and shows in numerous galleries in South and North Carolina. Recently Ann Douglas completed training to become a SoulCollage Facilitator. Her designs are inspired by traditional motifs, creating balance, combining techniques to create pieces that are both artful and wearable. She believes that art has the power to evoke emotions, provoke thought and promote empathy while revealing the extraordinary with the ordinary.
