About the Class: Join Charlotte Horton for this two-day class to learn the basics of cold wax and oil paint. You will leave this class with 3 to 4 finished backgrounds. These backgrounds can be brought back if you choose to take Next- Level where we work in composition. Feel free to bring a lunch and eat during the first half hour of class. During that 30 min. I will be talking about what cold wax is, what you can do with it, and what you can not do with it. We will also talk about the importance of a rigid substrate. The rest of the first day we will be laying down color using different techniques. The second day I will spend the first 30 min. discussing different ways to continue your pieces and the rest of the day will be devoted to finishing your pieces.  All skill levels welcomed.

Supplies:  All materials are provided: cold wax, oil paint, multiple substrates, and tools
