The fabulous fakes exhibition is open to all 2024 members of the Art League of Henderson County. New members are welcome. Membership application and dues must be paid in advance or accompany the entry. Only one entry per person will be accepted (artwork must be viewable by patrons of all ages).
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Each entry must be an adapted rendering of an old master, master, or prominently recognized artist. The fake needs to include a visual twist or change that makes the painting or 3-D piece uniquely yours.
- Maximum size for 2D work is 34” x 40”, outside edge to edge, including frame. Minimum size must be 11”x14” edge to edge, including frame. Work under glazing and over a half sheet in size (15”x22”), except for pastel, must be glazed with acrylic sheet, not glass. ALHC will not be responsible for glass breakage.
