Beginner Class in Pastel

This one day 5-hour class is designed as a beginner class in pastel. No background in art is necessary. All materials and equipment will be provided for use in the class which will include demonstrations by the instructor, Don Osterberg, and painting by the students. Please bring two or three colored pictures of sunsets that you would like to paint. Also feel free to bring something to eat and drink during a 30-minute lunch break,and an apron and latex gloves. At the end of the class the student will have a basic knowledge of the materials, equipment, and the techniques for painting with pastels. Additional classes are planned for all levels of pastel painting.
