Join us for a relaxed daytime workshop where wooden candle holders become small, joyful canvases. Using acrylic paints and paint markers, you’ll explore and play with colors and shapes to create a one-of-a-kind piece to adorn and decorate your home, table, party, or special occasion.
No experience needed.
This workshop is open to all levels and all kinds of makers. I’ll share my creative guidance and design ideas, and you’re free to work slowly, boldly, neatly, or wildly. You’ll leave with a finished candle holder ready to hold light for everyday moments & rituals as well as meaningful gatherings.
All materials provided. Extra candle holders available for purchase. Come as you are and enjoy a few easy, colorful hours of creativity with friends amongst the cozy atmosphere Miranda creates.
Artist Bio:
Miranda believes that art is for everyone. Making art together in a space without judgment challenges pre-conceived notions and inspires dialogue, cultivating understanding and compassion. Through her artistic endeavors, she has come to understand that our ties with one another and with nature are essential. In a world where capitalism often encourages us to see ourselves as isolated individuals, Miranda believes in breaking down those barriers. Art-making and appreciation belong to everyone, transcending titles and credentials, and engaging with art alongside each other is a way for us to reconnect and realize that we are all a part of the same.
