FABULOUS FAKES Art Exhibit is returning to Hendersonville. The event will be held at three locations:
1. The Art Place, April 15-30.
2021 Asheville Hwy., Hendersonville, 11-4, (closed Mon. and Tues).
2. Art MoB Studios and Marketplace, April 15-23.
124 4th Ave. East, Hendersonville. (closed Tues.)
3. The Gallery at Flat Rock. April 15-23.
2702 A Greenville Hwy. Flat Rock, 11-4 (closed Mon. & Tues.)
Gallery Crawl at local galleries begins Saturday April 15. Receptions at each gallery on Sunday, April 16, noon - 4:30 pm
Art League artists have chosen familiar works as inspiration, creating their own tweaked “fake”. Each piece will be displayed with an image of the original inspiration so that viewers can compare and find the differences. Showing that inspiration can come from many places, there are fakes of works from Botticelli and Monet to Picasso.
