Artwork donations will be accepted up to November 27 th, are preferred by November 4th.
Ticket can be sold at the door if we have enough artwork to cover tickets.
Help to make our annual 'A LOTTO Art' an even bigger success! You can help us make this work by donating a piece of art, or better yet, several pieces of your work, valued at a minimum of $250.00.
Our goal is to have 100 works at a minimum, but we'd love to have more. Artwork can be 2-D or 3-D, or a collection, for example multiple pieces of jewelry or pottery. We will have feature stories in several print publications, exposure in a variety of online event websites including our local Visit Hendersonville NC online event listing, plus our own social media campaign. This is a great demonstration to our community that our members are passionate about contributing to our success. You can still donate up until two days before the event and drop your piece off to be in the exhibit as it grows right up until the drawing! You can complete this registration without uploading an image and providing artwork details to hold you place for when you select your work. Your artwork images and info will not, obviously, appear on the website until you complete that step.
Here’s how the lottery-style event works:
Art League Artists donate artwork that would normally sell for a minimum of $250 and some already donated valued considerably higher. Art collectors and enthusiasts can purchase a “LOTTO” ticket for $100. Each ticket entitles the holder to take home a piece or collection of artwork for just $100 regardless of the value of the painting! Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis online through the Art League website or at the Gallery at Art Place. Ticket holders can preview the available artwork on the Art League website and in an exhibit opening November 7th. The live LOTTO event will be held on Saturday, November 29th, where LOTTO ticket numbers will be called in random order and ticket holders choose their "prize" artwork. You can still donate up until November 27th and drop your piece off to be in the exhibit as it grows right up until the drawing!
The more art pieces donated, the more tickets we can sell. Let's make this a masterpiece in generosity!
