Event Description
Instructor: Julia Reynolds Burchard
Date(s): June 15, June 29, July 13 and July 27. Times: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (4 classes sold as a package)
Fee: Members: $200; Non-Members: $275
Maximum Class Size: 8
Through demonstration, discussion, and practice, workshop participants will gain an understanding of how to see anatomical structure and draw the human form. With an emphasis on observation, gesture and form, the student will learn how to see the larger aspects of the human anatomy and save specific details for later.
Students will draw with sanguine Conte crayon on newsprint paper.
Supplies: The Instructor, Julia Reynolds Burchard, will provide a list of materials to each student. Typically this list includes the following: Strathmore 300 Series Newspring Pad Rough 100 sheets 18 x 24 inches. (Recommended tearing 10-25 sheets off the pad and mounting them on foam core with clips if possible.) Conte Crayon - Sanguine.
