Class Dates: June 13 and June 20, Noon to 4 p.m. each day

This fun class will involve exploring the amazing medium of fine silver metal clay to create several pairs of unique earrings. The instructor will introduce the basic skills and demonstrate a variety of techniques that students can choose from to create their own designs. No two pairs will be alike. The teacher will provide tool kits for students to use in class along with a multitude of materials to accentuate the designs. The first day will be spent in designing and creating the earrings and refining them for firing. The instructor will then take the pieces home to fire in her jeweler's kiln and bring them back to the second class date for polishing and adding patina (if desired). Students will then complete their projects by adding the ear wires and wearing them home with pride.
Materials Fee: A materials fee of $75 will be collected in class and will include 25 grams of fine silver metal clay and the use of the class tool kit, extra expendables and materials.
Skills Required: No previous experience is required. If you can use a roller and a cookie cutter, you can do this! Come join the fun!
