Event Description
The Art League of Henderson County is excited to welcome you to their new home - Art Place at 2021 Asheville Highway. We are kicking things off with an art auction!
This first event is sure to be the talk of the town, so we are inviting all members to enter a piece of work we can auction off in a silent auction.
Members can choose to donate 100% of the sale of their work to the Art League or receive 50% of the sale price in the auction. 2D and 3D works are welcome, but should not exceed a $500 retail value for this event. The minimum starting bid will be 50% of the retail price you provide.
All 2D work must be wired for hanging. No sawtooth backs will be accepted.
Deadline to enter is Friday October 8th. Complete registration form here in the online system.
Artwork drop off is Friday November 4th 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the new Art League building - Art Place - located at 2021 Asheville Highway Hendersonville.
The Art Place Gallery will be open for viewing and bidding Saturday November 5th, and Wednesday the 9th through Sunday the 13th from 11-4pm.
There will be a reception Sunday November 13th 4-7 pm and bids will close at this time.
