A contemporary introduction to Oshibana, a centuries old Japanese technique of creating art with pressed plant material; learn all process techniques for pressing, unpressing, storing, creating collage art using petals like strokes of paint, and sealing with multiple sealing methods. This workshop is both a demonstration of techniques and experiencing each step for themselves, resulting in take home projects, both laminate (matted and sleeved) and gel sealed (on wood and cardboard) and resources to continue this art form on one's own. A comprehensive take home package is included, with a complete resource sheet.
