Writing Personal Poetry is a workshop for both those who thought, “I’d like to write a poem, but it is beyond me,” and those who have written many poems. Poetry is a unique way of expressing one’s inner self. Richard unwraps the basics and beyond of what he has learned from a lifetime of writing poetry. He acts as both teacher and advocate. His classroom is a safe place to ask questions and reveal oneself through poetry.
This three-day class is spread over the course of three weeks, allowing time to reflect, write, and return with fresh insight. Whether you're just beginning or have been writing for years, this workshop offers the time, space, and support to connect more deeply with your own voice through poetry.
