Artist Bio:
Stephen Hernandez is a talented and accomplished fused glass artist from Baton Rouge. His interest in art began at a young age, and he honed skills through class work at Louisiana State University (LSU). In 1985, he co-founded Glasmosaik Studios, a stained glass studio where he continued studying his craft and developed a signature style.
For the last 10 years, Stephen has been focusing on fused glass art, creating stunning pieces that are both beautiful and functional. He currently resides among the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside Brevard, NC, where he is surrounded by the natural beauty that inspires his work.
Stephen's fused glass pieces are characterized by their vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and use of different textures. He masterfully combines his technical skills with his creative vision to produce pieces that are both visually stunning and structurally sound. Whether it's a functional item like a vase or a sculptural piece like a wall hanging, each piece is a unique and one-of-a-kind work of art.
