About the Class: Do you have a project you are working on that needs advice? Are you wondering how to layer different medias? Do you want to try out different products before investing in them? Do you have a hard time knowing how to start or when you are finished? If you answered yes to any of these questions then this is the class for you. You can bring your current work with you or start something new. My goal is to give you a safe, encouraging environment to explore mixed media and find your joy.All materials are provided. All skill levels welcomed.
I will supply one 11" x 14" substrate and a wide variety of materials. If you are bringing a piece that you are currently working on please bring the paints you have been using.
Artist Bio: Charlotte Horton is a mixed media artist known for her experimental and multilayered approach to art. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of mediums and techniques, often incorporating unexpected materials into her work. She likes to push her materials and discover new ways to use them. Charlotte is also known for including subtle, hidden elements within her pieces, inviting the viewer to look closer and discover new meanings and interpretations. Charlotte’s work is a reflection of her curiosity and desire to explore the world around her. With a keen eye for detail and a playful spirit, this artist's work is both visually striking and thought-provoking, encouraging the viewer to engage with the piece in a deeper and more meaningful way.
