We can create images for cards, prints and wall art. All supplies will be included in this workshop. No experience is required, just the ability to have fun and pay attention.

Supplies:  All supplies will be provided:

-white gouache
-watercolor paper
- India ink

- artist tape
- tons of paper and regular towels ( it is a bit messy)
- images to work from if your creativity needs a boost.

Artist Bio:A former medical and scientific illustrator, my primary medium of choice was pen and ink. Color was considered a luxury that my clients didn't typically require for the work I produced for publications and presentations. However, after undergoing a few career shifts, I began to yearn for the freedom to create my artwork with vibrant colors.
Through exploration of various mediums, I discovered a passion for watercolors. I made the deliberate decision to focus exclusively on watercolor as my artistic medium of choice. I honed my skills and developed a reputation for my exceptional ability to infuse watercolors with intense, vivid color palettes.
My understanding of watercolor developed through attending workshops held in various locations across the southern states. However, I truly felt myself flourish as an artist when I took on the role of teaching workshops. Guiding and sharing my knowledge with adult students, many of whom have gone on to win awards, secure placements in prestigious galleries, and experience continuous growth in their work, has been a deeply fulfilling experience.
Presently, my artwork is showcased in two locations: a gallery in Asheville and another in Hendersonville. As time progresses, I've come to see myself more as a collaborator rather than solely a teacher. In these workshops, I've discovered that I continue to learn and grow alongside my participants, fostering a dynamic and mutually enriching artistic community.
