About the Class: Join Charlotte Horton for this two-day class designed to build on what you learned in cold wax basics. Feel free to bring a lunch to eat in the first 30 minutes of class during the lecture portion. This class will cover materials that can be added into your cold wax, different ways to achieve texture, and reduction techniques. Feel free to bring the substrates you worked on during cold wax basics and together we will take them to the next level. I will also be providing to new substrates to work on.
Supplies: All supplies are provided for this class.
Experience: You need to have taken a cold wax basics class or have other experience working with cold wax.
About the Artists: Charlotte Horton is a mixed media artist known for her experimental and multilayered approach to art. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of mediums and techniques, often incorporating unexpected materials into her work. She likes to push her materials and discover new ways to use them. Charlotte is also known for including subtle, hidden elements within her pieces, inviting the viewer to look closer and discover new meanings and interpretations. Charlotte’s work is a reflection of her curiosity and desire to explore the world around her. With a keen eye for detail and a playful spirit, this artist's work is both visually striking and thought-provoking, encouraging the viewer to engage with the piece in a deeper and more meaningful way.
