DESCRIPTION:Formed and Fired Here: Clay Works from the Stuart Glassman Clay Studio\n\n03/06/26 07:00 PM EST\n - 03/28/26 07:00 PM EST\Description:\nStudio Members and Instructors:\nWe are making the application process easier.   All you need to do to participate in this exhibit is click on the "Apply Here" link.  You only need to give us your name.  We will have labels available at the front desk in the Clay Studio for everyone to label their work with their initials and a price.  Please include $ with you price to avoid confusion.  The label should be placed where it is visible so onlookers.  We also recommend placing a label on the bottom of your work in case the label outside falls off.l  You may insert a business card or another paper label inside any vessel  if there is room in the vessel.\n\nYou will receive a separate email with a form to fill out for a brief artist statement or bio if you would like one to be displayed next to your work.  We will create "table tent" signs with your name and statement if you provide one.\n\nIMPORTANT DATES\n\nArt Drop Off:  Monday, March 2, 2026  Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm (If you can't make this date, you can also drop your work off Saturday \nOpening Event:  Friday, March 6th from 4:00  to 7:00 pm.\nArt Pick Up:  Monday, March 31, 2026  Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm\nCommission: 30% to the Art League\n\nThe Art League invites members of The Stuart Glassman Clay Studio to join our member artists for special exhibit at the Art Place.  We are reserving space for the Stuart Glassman Clay Studio members to exhibit in the March exhibit - FREE OF CHARGE (no application fee for this exhibit).  We are allowing one piece as a "Not for Sale" because we know everyone has their favorite work they never want to sell but would like the world to see.\n\nThis exhibition will be the first of hopefully many exhibitions featuring our clay member artists.  Each member is invited to exhibit 5 pieces of work that is for sale as well as one piece of "Not for Sale" (NFS).  We will design a special “Exhibit Only” space for the NFS works.   We really want to fill the room, so we may take more work from the shelves at the Clay Studio.  Please let us know if there is anything on the shelves in the front room that you do want for sale.\n\nThe exhibit will run from March 4th to March 28th, 2026 at the Art Place gallery.  An opening reception will provide an opportunity for visitors to meet the artists on Friday, March 6th from 4:00  to 7:00 pm.\n\nThe Art League will be doing extensive marketing of this event including WTZQ radio, a full story with images of work and interviews with some of our studio members in the Laurel of Asheville Magazine, the Art League newsletter,  social media broadcasts, and event listings on various websites.\n\nPlease Contact Hannah Gambino or Diane Dean if you have any questions.\n\nDirector@ArtleagueHVL.org\n\Location:\nArt Place Gallery\n730 Locust Street\nHendersonville, NC 28791
