DESCRIPTION:Inner Demons Art Workshop\n\n11/09/25 10:00 AM EST\n - 11/09/25 12:00 PM EST\Description:\nInstructor: Lauren Brown\nDate: 11/9/2025\nTime: 10 am - 12 pm\nMember: $85  Non-Member: $95\n\nWe all have inner demons - voices within that tell us we aren't good enough, experiences from our past we feel haunted by, tendencies we can never seem to get a handle on... demons like fear, insecurity, rage, addiction, anxiety.\nIn this workshop, participants will identify their own unique family of inner demons and focus on one of them to develop into a small stuffed creature.\nAt the end of the workshop, all of the demons will convene for a conference, where each participant can expect to gain fresh insight about their relationship to this particular part of their psyche and hopefully leave with tools for how to better manage it.\nNo sewing experience necessary.\n\nArtist Bio:\nLauren is an artist and registered nurse. She received her BFA from Georgian Court University and her MFA from the Art Institute of Boston. She has worked with a variety of media and within an eclectic range of environments. She co-founded a community art space in Philadelphia, which hosted over 20 city-wide exhibitions. She worked part-time for many years in the art therapy department of an inpatient clinic, and along with the art therapist, she co-founded a program that offered classes utilizing art to further self-exploration and expression. In her personal artwork, she works mainly in watercolor and printmaking.
